Hey Folks,
I realize that the instructions I provided a link to might be a little
sparse. These instructions were designed for a facilitated workshop
where we provided some of the materials including the software.
So please refer to this post for the latest in software and versions to
be installed.
For data destruction:
info:
http://www.dban.org/
download version 2.2.6 :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/
For System Testing and Benchmarking
info:

Download version 5.1.1:
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html
For Operating System Installation
Info:
http://www.ubuntu.com/
Doanload version 10.04 LTS 32 bit:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download
NOTE: PLease ensure you install version 10.04. LTS stands for Long Term
Release. Computers for Communities will be supporting the next long term
relase 12.04, but not 11.04. Currently 11.04 is default but not LTS.
I hope this helps the team get prepared.
If anyone wants to update our website by writing this up and posting it
in Drupal let me know.
Cheers
