Hey Folks,
Lets get down to the details.
We have 15-20 machines that need to be refurbished. We need some
volunteers who know the process as well as those interested in learning
the process.
A couple of key people you will get to know on this list.
Al Kuiper: Our Logisitics guru. If you need a computer to work on or
have one to get back to us he is your man.
Pierre Kerr: He knows the refurb process inside out and backwards.
Mike Gibson: He is our inventory guru. If you need a random part, a
different hard drive, a replacement power supply, Mike is your go to
person.
Dave Sampson: Me, I will be poking and proding the process at first
while we figure stuff out. Over time the goal is for this group to
manage itself, like a micro community and I will step back and let
evolution take its course.
You: Our most valuable resource are our volunteers. Al, Mike, Pierre and
I are here to help you through the process. So let us know how we can
help and feel free to ask thoughtful questions.
If you are ready to receive a computer please respond to the list.
Our next open warehouse date will be Friday december 16, 11:00am to
12:00 noon. I know this is during the day. SO if you can not make that
day then place your order on this list (how many systems you need) and
Al will make sure the systems get to you.
Our warehouse will be open every second Friday so make sure you place
your order a head of time.
Does this make sense?
Welcome aboard.
Cheers
