Subject: [Ccglrit-gcclrit] Ad Hoc Working Group on Engineering Aspects of LRIT

As reported in MSC 82/WP.8/Add.2, the Committee authorized the next meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Engineering Aspects of LRIT to be held in the week prior to COMSAR 11, as well as expressing appreciation to CIRM for offering to host the event.

Accordingly, the meeting will be held in London from February 12-16 2007.

The meeting will start on Monday, February 12 at 2:00 pm to allow for travel Monday morning and will end on Friday, February 16 at 12:00 noon for the same reason.

The meeting will be held at:

The Victory Services Club 63

79 Seymour Street

London W2 2HF

The club is situated near Marble Arch tube station and has excellent facilities, including wiFi.  Dress is business casual.

CIRM have negotiated a good rate (£125.00 room only) at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel (www.riverbankparkplaza.com). Those wishing to take advantage of this rate should quote the CIRM Corporate ID number of 21210.

It would be appreciated if those planning to attend to confirm their attendance with: Frances Baskerville, Deputy Secretary-General,  CIRM Southbank House, Black Prince Road, London SE1 7SJ.
