Hello,

Attached please find details of the LRIT meeting venue and hotel information for the upcoming meeting in Malta.

REGISTRATION:
Please note that the attached contains two forms, each of which is to be sent to a different contact (full contact and related details provided in the attachment):
1)  A meeting registration form, to be sent to the Malta Maritime Authority, and
2)  Hotel and related details and a hotel reservation booking form, to be completed and sent directly to the Corinthia Palace Hotel.

VISAs:
Also attached is the Malta visa application previously sent via the reflector, as a reminder to participants who may require a visa.  If you have any questions regarding visas, please contact Anne Marie Sciberras (annemarie.sciberras@gov.mt) after April 15th, and Lawrence Sciberras (lawrence.sciberras@mma.gov.mt) before April 15th.

MEETING SCHEDULE:

The meeting will commence on Wednesday, May 9 and end Saturday, May 12 around noon.  The reason for the 3.5 day duration is that Malta is kindly arranging to show participants a little more of Malta one afternoon while we are there.

The intent is to start each morning at 0830hrs and finish somewhat earlier in the day around 1500 hrs.  While this marks a departure from standard IMO hours it was felt that this would give participants more time at the end of the day to better enjoy May in Malta.

An agenda with further details will be distributed closer to the meeting date.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Malta.

Regards,

Tracy
