1) There will be a special budget and Novice post-mortem meeting this Wednesday, Oct 8, at 9 pm in Res Com 214. All Novices who competed at the Novice Tournament are eligible to vote on the budget and are encouraged to attend. This is where we will be deciding what tournaments we will be attending and how many debaters will be sent. All club members in good standing have a right to speak and vote on these issues.

2) Hart House IV is coming up on Oct 16-18. For all those interested in participating, please sign up on CUSIDnet. If you don't yet have an account, but still want to participate, send the exec an email at exec@carletondebate.org. The final deadline for participation is Wed, Oct 8, at the business meeting.

3) A big thank you to everyone who came out this weekend. Be it Novices who were debating or pros who judged, debated and ran ballots, everyone was integral to the success of the tournament. We can't thank you enough. This was the largest tournament Carleton ever hosted and thanks to you it was one of the best run tournaments.
