    This weekend's annual Panda Debate between Carleton and the UofO was a tremendous success.  The University of Ottawa won a contentious final round.  Ben Piper and Andrew Christie, the government team representing Carleton, argued that the United States should force Iraq to adopt a western-style government.  View photos from the tournament are on the CUDS gallery page
     
    Apply for McGill's Winter Carnival and Queen's North American Championships
    CUDS is now accepting applications for those interested in attending McGill's Winter Carnival (January 23-25) and the Queen's University-hosted North American Championships (January 30-February 1).  View the CUDS events calendar to see how these tournaments fit into our plan for the remainder of the year (the plan is subject to change should finances prove a constraint).  As with all other tournaments this year, CUDS members who attend are expected to pay $20 towards CUDS' costs.  To express interest in attending either tournament, post to the relevant thread on the CUDS forum
