Watch the Xerxes Cup Finals
The CU Debating Society's annual Xerxes Cup high school tournament is this weekend - Friday and Saturday.  The final rounds start at 4:00 on Saturday in room 360 of the Tory Building.  If you are interested in seeing some great debaters performing at the top of their game, please come out and watch these final rounds (they'll take about 1.5 hours).  Everyone is welcome.  There is no need to register.  More details are available on the tournament's web site xerxes.CarletonDebate.org

Where and when Volunteers should arrive for the weekend's tournament

All judges and everyone who wants to volunteer this weekend at our high school tournament - the Xerxes Cup - should come to the Tory Building lobby at 4:00pm on Friday (our registration table will be near "the egg" - 360 Tory).  At this time, we'll have training for judges and tell everyone about the schedule for the weekend.
Our volunteer coordinator, Greta Hall, can be reached via email at VPDebate@CarletonDebate.org

Weekly CUDS Meetings
The CU Debating Society meets several times a week.  These meetings continue for the duration of the regular school year.  Once classes are over and we are into the exam period, these meeting times will no longer be in effect.  Watch the CUDS web site - www.CarletonDebate.org - for an announcement on exam period meeting times (or a lack thereof).
Online Message Board
CUDS has an online forum where members can debate, chat and read the latest members-only announcements.  In order to view the forum, you must sign up and request access.  Go to the forumContact VP Communications Joshua Prowse for more information or for access.

Do you have any ideas for CUDS?  Is there a way we could better communicate with you?  Somebody we should be working with?  Let us know!
