Dear Friends: You may have noticed that we are having difficulties with our website. That is because we are in the middle of changing hosts. The original website was created by my late husband, Al Neilson, and my son,, Steve, who was 20 at the time. Steve is also responsible for our logo of the geese flying in V formation indicating how much further we can get if we flock together. Al ran the website from 1993 until 2003 and it then was run by our director at the time, Marjorie van de Sande, who became our webmaster. Her son, Bob van de Sande, designed our second website and very kindly donated it to the National ME/FM Action Network. We are most grateful to both Marjorie and Bob for the excellent job they have done and appreciate all the hard work they put into our website and kept it running smoothly. As you know, the National ME/FM Action Network is completely run by volunteers and very often we neglect to acknowledge those who work so hard for the cause. It is for this reason we want to apologize for any shortcomings on our behalf for not always showing our appreciation to those who volunteer so unselfishly and have made the organization what it is today. Please bear with us as we are going through this transitional period and we hope to restore order as soon as we can. In the meantime, we also want to let you know that as many had requested we get involved with Facebook and Twitter, we are pleased to announce that we are now on Facebook and Twitter and it is being run by one of our volunteers. We will be placing a notice there also as I know many of you visit that site.
