Subject: [OLG] Re: OLG JANUARY 2021 PROGRAM

Since I haven’t been very good at answering these, thought I’d start the new year right.

  1. Yes, I’m a reader. Prefer books to ipad. I read the newspaper, magazines, cookbooks and computer (short articles).  I like history and fluff stuff. Have a series of quilt fiction.

2.       I do a Christmas newsletter every year, write letters occasionally to some of my family in other states, and newsletters for our retired military organization and our retired military camping group. I was on the newspaper staff when I was in junior high, high school and college. Had a couple of by-lines along the way  Even got to interview the captain of the football team when I was a freshmen (college).  Big deal back then.  I do stories in my head, but they don’t get to paper. Had a diary when I was in junior high.

  1. No favorite author.  If the jacket looks good, I’ll read the synopsis and buy or not.
  2. Only the comics in the newspaper. My favorite is Pickles.  We are them to a T.
  3. TTFN

Thanks for making my think.  Gail2  NC
