Besides those specifically listed here or on the

- Sunday 11 April
- There's Jazz in the
Afternoon at The Arrow & Loon Pub in the Glebe. Great food,
micro-brewery beer, and jazz at 99 Fifth Avenue at Bank Street. It doesn't
get any
better than that!
Sandra Clarke (vocals), Howard Tweddle
(jazz piano), and Chris Thompson
(drums) perform two hours of great jazz
tunes from 5 to 7. All three musicians
have been fixtures on the Ottawa
jazz scene for many years, but this is the first time
they've performed
together as a group. The show will feature an eclectic mix of music,
from
ballads to up tempo, from latin to swing, from old to new. No cover charge.
- There's
Sunday Blues at Atomic Rooster. Each Sunday Atomic Rooster presents a variety
of bluesy live music. This coming
Sunday, check out The Moon Dogs. Click the above link
for the

I only highlight a small
number of events that are posted to the calendar.
Nowhere
near everything is posted on the calendar as it's musician/venue
optional to post, and amend the listings as needed. However
more info can be found
on the calendar including links
to such venue web sites as Rainbow Bistro, Tucson's,
The Elmdale and
Bass Line Station that usually have more detailed schedules.
It's also
a good idea to call a venue to confirm that regular listings still
apply
as they sometimes just quietly go away or may be cancelled due to
weather disruptions.
First, check the calendar for more
