Let's Sing Celtic! This is a day time course

During this fun and instructive group course you will learn to sing east coast style folk music and music arranged for Celtic choir. The group will learn four party harmony while injecting Maritime flavour and fun into the lyrics. This course will culminate in a grand Ceilidh celebration featuring your Celtic singing group, instrumental performers, dancing, and a live Celtic Band. Let’s Party!!
Instructor: Maritime Choir director, vocalist & music educator - Allison Jackson

Course Length: 13 weeks plus Ceilidh Concert May 5th.

Dates: Thursdays beginning Feb 2nd, except no class March 15 (March break week), last class Thursday May 3rd, Ceilidh May 5th.

Time: 1:00 PM-2:30 Pm

Requirements: Singers need a good ear or ability to read music and must be present for the May 5th concert.
For ages 19 and up

Sing Better as You Age This is an evening course

"Sing Better As You Age" is an interactive and participatory class for the adult singer that will help you understand how your voice works and gain insight into what it taking place physically as you experience vocal changes. Ideas as to what types of actions you can take to improve the condition of your voice, including breathing and vocal conditioning exercises. We'll also review the vocal and musical skill sets that will help you in group singing. Keep enjoying singing to its fullest!

Instructor: Elise Letourneau, music educator, composer, choir director and vocalist.

Course Length: 12 weeks.

Dates: Thursdays beginning Feb 2nd, except no class March 15 (March break week), last class Thursday April 26th.

Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 Pm
