 Rimbach is the real thing – a musician who has absorbed what the jazz greats had to say and then developed a sound of his own - Doug Fischer, Ottawa Citizen

 

 Originally from New Jersey, Vince has been an active member on the Ottawa jazz scene since 1990.  Vince has appeared with Eartha Kitt, the Artie Shaw Band, Sid Ceasar, Bill Watrous, Clark Terry, Los Gringos, Super Band and Deux Saison.

 

Vince studied composition and arranging with famed composer/arranger Herb Pomeroy as well saxophone with Joseph Viola and George Garzone at Berklee College of Music in Boston.. Other teachers included Bill Evans (saxophone), Steve Grossman and Jerry Bergonzi.

 In December 2004 Mike Rud moved from Vancouver to Ottawa

 

Mike has performed with Herb Ellis, Kenny Wheeler, Chuck Israels, Ralph Bowen, Joe La Barbera, Guido Basso, Ian MacDougal, P.J. Perry, Tommy Banks, Denzal Sinclaire, John Stetch and many others. He has two CDs of his own out, Whyte Avenue and Chimbe, and is a guest on several other CDs

Under the direction of Thomas White, the Nomad Gallery has been working for the past 6 years to display and promote the work of local artists. Artwork will be on display for your viewing pleasure. Local artists will be on hand. All art work will be for sale.

 

Come out and support the work of local artists and listen to two of Ottawa's best jazz musicians at Le Petit Chicago.
