Subject: Nov 9/10 CONCERTS CANCELLED

Dear Friends,

Unfortunately Vic Juris had to cancel our concerts this weekend due to the aftermath and situation he and his area is in as a result of Hurricane Sandy. New Jersey, as you probably know was hit hard and the area Vic is in still has no electricity and gasoline is being rationed and difficult to obtain. 

Vic was really disappointed to miss playing in Ottawa again but the good news is that he will be here in May as part of a guitar festival at Carleton University called Guitar Now in early May. we will do our dynamic duo then! (By the way, Ben Monder, Don Ross and other phenomenal guitarists will also be at the festival - I will keep you posted)

If you have already purchased a ticket for this weekend, you can certainly have a refund - just contact GigSpace - or you can apply your credit to another one of the concerts in the series. If you chose to do this, you will need to contact GigSpace to let them know which of the other concerts you would like to apply the credit to. There is a list of the remaining concerts in the series below.

If you have purchased a pass to the series, please just see Marilee at GigSpace when you are in next or call her and you will be refunded for this concert.

I'm really sorry about this, but I know that you will understand that it was unavoidable. Send out some good thoughts for Vic and everyone affected by Sandy.
