Hello and Happy New Year!
We are very fortunate to begin 2009 with a special Inside the Music featuring guitarist Lorne Lofsky!
Lorne will be performing at Café Paradiso Friday, Jan. 16th with Roddy Elias.
On Saturday Jan. 17th Lorne will be our special guest for the afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 pm with host Tim Bedner.

Lorne Lofsky, has been actively involved in the Canadian jazz scene for over twenty-five years. Some of his musical associations have included co-leading a quartet with the great guitarist Ed Bickert (Order of Canada) for eight years and playing with Oscar Peterson from 1994-1996.
Other people Lorne has played and/or recorded with include Rob McConnell, Chet Baker, Kirk Macdonald, Ray Brown, Neils Pederson, Clark Terry, Benny Carter, Bill Mays, Ruby Braff and Guido Basso.
Lorne has taught on the faculty of York University for the last twenty-five years and also has an extensive private teaching practice, in addition to freelancing in the Toronto area.
