Subject: Revelstoke Hydro outage - flood plain

 

Hi Folks,

 

We got a notice from Hydro Ottawa that they were turning the power off all day on Friday April 24.

 

Bruce and I will be away that day and we were worried about the sump pump being inoperable, with no power to it, as the pump is working regularly all day now to keep our basement afloat.

 

I called Hydro at 613-738-5499 x7217 and asked them to solve this problem.  He said they would postpone the outage for us all and reschedule.  They will let us know when the power will be out for the rescheduled date by use of flyers.  In the meantime he told me to tell the neighbours.

 

Please pass this around to the Revelstoke gang affected.
