Hello Everyone

 

Our granddaughter, Emma, who is a Grade 12 student in the Canterbury High School music programme, is giving her first solo recital on Monday February 23.   Organizing and playing in this recital is part of a year long project which she is doing as part of her requirements for graduation from this programme and to help prepare her for university auditions.

 

You will also be fortunate enough to hear Liko Yamane on piano and the Emerald (string) Quartet (Alisa, Ethan, Jerry & Emma).  There will be selections from Lalo, Bruch, Bach, and more.

 

The recital takes place at 7 p.m. at MacKay United Church, 39 Dufferin Road. (For those of you who were at Garden Club earlier this week, I was wrong about the location.)

 

There is no admission cost.
