Hello Marita,

Thank you for this Marita. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the AGM on the 12th. I have a work event that I must attend.

1. Treasurers Report
As I will be unable to attend the AGM, please accept this brief paragraph as my Treasurer's Report.

Although I have not yet received the December statement, I dont anticipate any unusual transactions in that month and have projected that we will end the calendar year with a balance in the bank of $4,905.03. To the best of my knowledge, we have no outstanding Payables and no outstanding Receivables.

During the year, bank charges for the year totaled $96.25. We received 6 donations in 2024, totaling $50.00, which should be sufficient to avoid a fee for inactivity on the account. As we go into the new year, I hope all members will make a small donation, so again in 2025 we can avoid the inactivity fee. Here is a link that will allow members to donate to TC using a PayPal account or many popular credit cards (no PayPal account is needed): https://www.paypal.com/donate?token=SphlzDIs4Ag1qDGpd7bALbyfkYuWk_k-AB1JSgEkJnzHejv-ulRh7aJhLg3rhKUB4I4hW6cd9_Puz2SS.

I have attached a spreadsheet summarizing TC's finances for the year.

2. Regional Directors update
As continuing National Capital FreeNet Director, and past Chair, my report this year is to speak about NCF's recently launched Community WiFi Network project. Those living on low incomes in urban Ottawa are more likely to struggle to afford the high costs of home internet and cellphone data plans and less likely to receive the digital skills support they need. With tremendous assistance from our partners, CIRA and Hiboo Networks (Ottawa Hydro), NCF is piloting a Community WiFi Network to help bridge this gap by delivering free, secure, fast and high-quality WiFi in indoor and outdoor community spaces across Vanier, Overbrook and parts of Sandy Hill and Lowertown. Here is a link to a CBC story that describes the project and adds a few pictures: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/free-internet-ottawa-community-housing-1.7096280

3. Chris Cope Participation in TC
- If so nominated, I agree to stand for election to the Board of Telecommunities Canada (TC).
- If elected to the TC Board, and so nominated, I agree to stand for appointement as Treasurer of TC
- If she is elected to the Board of TC at this AGM, and agrees to continue as an officer, I hereby nominated Marita Moll as President of TC

I hope the AGM goes well and look forward to hearing the outcomes.

Subject: [Tcadvisors] AGM - Thurs. 12, 4pm EST

Hello advisors. I am calling the AGM on Thursday Dec. 12, at 4pm EST. I hope that some of you who did not pick this slot might have some flexibility and be able to tune in for some of the call. You will receive a zoom link from Garth Graham. I will send out the minutes of last year's call and an agenda in the next couple of days.

As our filing deadline is Dec. 13, this means I can actually file the next day and we will be all clear for another year. Thanks to those of you who agreed to be on the board of directors list.

Marita
