Hello, I need information about the place of the 4º meetings of the Ad
hoc Working Group on Engineering aspects of Long-Range Identification
and Tracking of Ships (LRIT - OMI). This meeting is related to the IMO
Circular letter No.2783 and will start on May 9 th in "La Valletta"
City - (Malta).
This meeting is organized by the IMO and the the Malta Maritime
Authority
(MMA).
Could you send me this information as soon as possible.

I regret to inform you and all people from Ad Hoc Engineering Group that, due to organizational problems, I will not be able to attend the Malta Meeting.

Attached please find the following two documents for review and comment prior to the Malta meeting:
* Revised Draft Technical Specifications for the International LRIT Data Centre
* Revised Draft Technical Specifications for the International LRIT Data Exchange
Still to come:
* The Revised Draft Technical Specifications for Communications will be sent in a separate e-mail today
* A draft agenda will be circulated tomorrow
* The first draft of the Costing and Billing specification should be available early next week
Logistics:
A reminder that the meeting will commence on Wednesday, May 9 and end Saturday, May 12 around noon. Start time is 0830 hours. Dress is business casual.
Those of you planning to attend the meeting who have not already done so are reminded to register separately for both the meeting and the hotel as per my e-mail of April 11. If you did not receive that e-mail and require further information, please contact me directly by e-mail at peverettT(a)dfo-mpo.gc.ca and I will provide.
Your Feedback Required:
Anyone having comments on the attached documents is invited to:
* Send the comments to me directly for forwarding to the appropriate OPI (office of primary interest)
* Send the comments to everyone via the reflector, or
* Bring your comments to the Malta meeting
Participants are also requested to indicate, in advance to me via e-mail, their preference for participation at one of the following groups in Malta:
* IDC subgroup
* IDE/Communications subgroup
* Costing and billing subgroup
While everyone's preference will be accommodated if possible, we of course need to ensure we have a good representation within each of the three groups.

Turkish delegation for Malta meeting

My apologies for late response. Eventually, I am happy to inform you that
three technical colleagues from Turkey will participate the Malta (and
Hamburg) meeting(s).
FYI, persons who will attend the Ad Hoc WG on Engineering Aspects of LRIT
meetings in Malta next week will be as follows:
1. Mr.Mehmet Colak,
2. Sadik Pehlivan,
3. Mustafa Ozsiginan.
All the documents and other relevant information were delivered to them.
And I hope that they will be able to complete necessary preparations (visa
things and other arrangements) and will be there on time with you.
I Look forward to joining the Group in London.
