Rider with Matthew...
by Laevens, Jennifer
Hey Team,
Can someone tell me who took Matthew Dubeau under their wing last night. Chuck ended up riding at the back with his younger son, Ryan but wanted to thank some people personally. Please tell me who you are so I can pass this info along.
Thanks,

Thank You
by Laevens, Jennifer
A little later on today I will be issuing a second Press Release to the media about our event last night. I will also be distributing photos to the police, FB and the Ride of Silence organization. But before I do all of that I just wanted to say Thank You again to all of you who came out to ride last night. There are several people not part of our riding group that also attended so please feel free to pass along my thanks.
I was moved to tears last night watching all of us on the road. I felt the drivers and citizens of Chatham-Kent were respectful and in awe watching our well dressed group of riders. I could hear some comments as we passed and Ryan on the tandem bike and the parents with the toddlers on the back were definitely noticed. A big round of applause to Ryan Dubeau, our youngest rider (5) to make it the whole time without stopping on his own bike. I sure hope his daddy had a good surprise for him when they were through!
I have some lessons learned for next year which will hopefully include even a bigger group of riders. If anyone has any pictures, please forward them to me for inclusion in our media package.
My sincere thanks,
Jennifer Laevens

OK getting ready for the morning ride + getting some jerseys ready....
After my ride I will come home and get a BOX of orders that is ready... I will have it with me at TekSavvy....
This will consist of people that ride with us on Wednesday and/or Sundays with the exception of the following... ( Ann McKenzie)
Yep... Little error yesterday and getting corrected at some point today... Others should be good to go...
For the others I can only cary 1 box at a time on my bike so the other one will be brought tonight after my shift 12pm-9pm
For the Tuesday Group riders that are part of this list... I might not be riding with you's on Tuesday but will have the orders there with me so we can distribute.
** JEN LAEVENS AND I ARE ASKING RIDERS THAT HAVE ORDERED JERSEYS TO WEAR THEM ON WEDNESDAYS NIGHT RIDE OF SILENCE TO SHOW OUR PRESENCE EVEN MORE AS A GROUP **
Cheers
Dan
