Rotary River Ride

Hi everyone - Steve and I (as well as a number of other CK cyclists) participated in the Rotary River Ride on Saturday. It was fun, but really really windy on the way out! The long route ended up being 47km. I need help in identifying the other 3 riders in the photo for the paper. Steve and I are the first two :) I'm not sure who the third rider is? I know the fourth is Susan and the fifth is Wes, but I don't know their last names. Hopefully all 3 riders are on this distribution list - if not, I'm hoping someone else can identify them!

St. Clair River Run

Hello everyone,
Not sure how many runners there are in the group but just thought I'd send everyone a link to let you know about the St. Clair River Run 5 & 10k..

This is the first year of what the organizers hope will become an annual event. The course is great, one way - no out and back, no loops, just straight running along the St. Clair River. There will be buses available to take runners to the start line. Post race snacks and awards will be by the finish line in Brander Park. Check out the website for more info!

Saturday 65K or 25K Ride with the Herd

Hi Gang,
I know some of you are planning on doing the Rotary ride but I just saw this posting for the Cycle with the Herd ALS fundraiser ride in Erieau this weekend. I have attached a scanned .pdf with the details.
Basically registration is $40. Start and end at the pier in Erieau. Registration opens at 8:00 am. You can choose the 65K or the 25K ride. BBQ to follow the ride.
I don't want to pull riders from the Rotary event but please consider this event as it is a fundraiser locally. I will attending and doing the 25K. Anyone interested in riding with me? ALS affects my cousin so any opportunity I have to raise funds for this group is important.
