This sounds better to me as long as people know what group they are riding in so no one
gets ' put off ' because they are trying to ride with the wrong group.
As for me, Thursday night is out as it's cruise night at A&W, Tuesday is good IF
I'm not looking after the grandson. Can we pick a night that is more flexible so as to
avoid the persistent rain on Wednesday nights ????

Ok so how does this sound
We organize the wednesday night group into 2 groups . Have the Intermediate group start
out a couple of minutes ahead of the other. That way if someone drops off they can fall
back to the other group if needed.

I to would like the ride on any other night then Tuesday. You will limit the turn out
for both rides. I guy like Dan B would likely partake in both rides and would be forced
to pick one.

Perhaps a Monday or Thursday evening would be better. It wouldn't disrupt the
tuesday group.

Hi All:
Several of us have been discussing the need for an intermediate riding group. A time
where a slightly more experienced rider can practise group riding skills and challenge
their abilities just a little further.
I'd like to get the ball rolling on this if people are interested. So... What do
you think of this...
Tuesday Night 6:30
Meeting Place Rona ( this way we can head out of town without worrying about traffic
so much)
Average Speed +-30K to start
Skill to be worked on: Keeping our lines tight, cycling through the group, increasing
speed and endurance
I'd like to invite a couple of the Regular Tuesday night people out as well in
hopes that we can learn form your experience. I heard some great things about how a
couple of the guys from the Tuesday night group helped bring the cycling group together on
Sunday as a working team. (Thanks). Minus the accident I heard that the ride was very
unified and enjoyable. We would be grateful for any mentor ship that you would be will to
provide.
I'm sorry but I don't know who it was that fell but I'm hoping you are
doing ok. Let us know if you need anything.
Anyway....if interested....I'd like to start tomorrow night :)
Let me know if you are in. And please share any other ideas you may have.
Ann
