Thanks for the update Helen,
Knowing Helen personally, it is not in her character to do something to frustrate
others.
She's a great woman that took care of me during my recovery and is of a great asset
for riders that can ride a little faster pace than the rest.
Last year Ann and I did notice thus that the group had a split on the caliber of the
riders where there would almost be a need for 2 groups.
Certainly as Geoff mentioned we need to keep in mind of slower riders. We all started at
one point and got better over time.
I recall last year the group pace was about 21km/hr at the start and by the end of the
season went to 29km/hr

Heh guys- that was my doing last week- not done intentially! I did not
realized the group was starting at 6:30- and had arrived for a 6pm ride.
Some others as well arrived at the same time- just a miscommuncation as
thought started at 6pm- no big deal.. I choose to head out- as had other
commitments- so know- this was not done intentially to split the group.
thanks!
-Helen

I can't make it tonight unfortunately, but I thought we were
supposed to be
a casual riding group. Yes, some of us are faster than others and from time
to time we sprint off for a short distance, but then stop and wait for the
others. Last week we all split up in two's and threes, leaving a few
completely behind. Not fun for those people !! I'm just as guilty as the
rest on that one. However, I was surprised to learn that some had done
there own thing and gone earlier. Doesn't this defeat the purpose ?
Geoff.
