Excellent idea. Just remember some folks may just want to go for a leisurely
group ride from time to time, without wanting to work up too much of a
sweat! Splitting the Weds group would help achieve this and for those who
want to sweat (or is that glow?) the Thursday TT will do that!

Wednesday Group;
We shall be splitting the group due to the different Caliber of the riders.
1) 19 to 25 km/hr
2) 25+
The riders from last year where pretty much all at the lower speeds and got
better over time with the Spin classes over the winter. But we certainly do
want to welcome new riders to the group.
The riders from last year have a goal in mind to push themselves with the
goal of possibly joining the Tuesday night group.
With this goal in mind, I asked the Sunday riders what they think of having
a Time Trial night. What is a Time Trial??? Well is when you ride on your
own for a set distance and try to do it as fast as possible.
This is a great way to gauge your progress over time.
Possible Thursday TT 10km and 20km;
Now the best location for this is Riverview Dr.
If you start at the corner Heritage Rd and Riverview Dr. (See picture 1) at
the sign.
Head towards Prairie Siding Bridge
Just before the Church on Dillon Rd (See picture 2) This is the 10km turn
around point
For the 20km go up to the sign at the bridge (See picture 3)
I shall be creating a Excel template to track your progress if you wish.
Now keep in mind that you can do this ride at any time if you wish, don't
need us for that. Just email me your results and I shall jot them down. :)
Cheers everyone.
