Funny you say that about brakes. I can never seem to remember which is the
back brake........... probably because I too am used to the rear brake on
the left side. I always seem to use that side first, but really never
connected the reason why !
Is Napoleon also the reason why the French language seems backward
(opposite) to English???? No offence to all our French Canadian friends.
Geoff.

Very funny. Actually, did you know that bikes come in left hand and
right
hand drive versions? The brakes on my British Bike are reversed, probably
so
the rear brake is on the left hand as the right hand is supposed to do
most
of if not all the signaling!
Just remember, until Napoleon, everyone drove on the left including the
Greeks and Romans! The French have a lot to answer for! (Sorry Dan!)
See you Weds.

Hi James:
So that's why I see so many people riding on the wrong side of the road.?
They're British .
Wednesday night would most likely be a good starting point for the new
rider.? There are some people traveling a liitle slower in the group as
they
are new as well or have heavier bikes.
See you Wednesday for CAN-Bike
Ann
