Hi Geoff, I went out for a good ride yesterday & got whacked by a car on my way down to Sarasota. The driver, a girl, hit me. She came over the stop sign & hit me & then took off. The police are looking for her but it seems nobody got a license # so I'm not holding my breath !!!!! I have the usual skin off my right side, knee, elbow & shoulder. I had quite a bang on my head & must have passed out, I woke up in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. They kept me there for a few hours & x-rayed me & did a scan of my head. The doctor said I was very lucky, I didn't have any broken bones & my helmet probably saved my life. It was split open on the right side so that could have been my head !!!!
