Prayers for my nephew

Hi,My nephew is on day 2 at hospital for Covid. He is on oxygen but nit a ventilator. He was one that didn't take virus seriously and fought wearing a mask. He us 40 years old. His name is Patrick.
My biological mom (no relation to nephew) contracted Covid last month and died within 48 hours of notification that she had it.
Thus us scary stuff. Please take it seriously. Asking fir prayers for my nephew and his family.

1. Are you a reader? Not much anymore. Used to love reading when I was traveling for work but since I’ve retired every once in a while if I find something I’m truly interested in.
2. Do you write? Letters, newspaper articles, stories, poetry, journal/diary, etc. Ever been published? No
3. Do you have a favorite author/s? Love Nora Roberts/J D Robb, Sue Grafton, John Grisham. When I read I want to be entertained so don’t ready anything too heavy. I want to pick back where I left off when I decide to read again.
4. Do you read the comics? Have a favorite? No
5. Can you figure out the modern day computer language, such as "LOL" means laughing out loud? List one for us to figure out but don't give the answer, let's see what we get! IKR?

Just me...

Hello Sisters,
I hope you all are well, staying safe from the COVID and getting the vaccine when you can (both shots). I have been doing the vaccine clinic for FEMA and the county, here in Prescott. Spent all day last week, 7:30 to 5, boy I was tired. I will give shots again next week but only half day. I will take coffee this time… LOL.
As some of you may know, we had to put our Sophie, the Old English Sheepdog down as she could no longer walk, that was hard to do.
She was 12, but still….. Anyway, in a couple of weeks we are headed to Palmdale, CA to pick up a puppy OES. (love the breed, they do not shed) Her name will be Kelli, and I sure do look forward to getting her. I really miss not having a dog.

January Program

I love, love, love to read always have. It took some doing but I finally decided I had to go to a Kindle. Books are heavy!!
I read fast but between Amazon Prime and the public library free books it keeps me from going broke. Lol
I enjoy a number of authors. Some that use to be my favorite have changed their writing style so they no longer make my list. I read for pleasure not to really learn....after all I’m brilliant you know. Right!
I enjoy writing my own greeting cards. I would look at cards and it seemed nothing said what I wanted to express. So I started doing my own.
My favorite computer sign is

Checking for interest - Facebook chats

Dear Sisters,
A member mentioned meeting up on Facebook. I know that there are some who do not use Facebook but those that do might enjoy meeting up there. It would be similar to the beginnings of OLG when we used to meet up on AOL chats. In fact, that is exactly how we started. The format with Facebook isn't near as nice as AOL used to be for chatting but is similar. If enough members are interested, I could set up a group for messaging on Facebook. It would show any members on line at the time you are there. We used to meet on Wednesday nights. Since most of us are now home most of the time, I was thinking an afternoon meet, say starting at 4 PM Eastern Time any week day we could chose.
