*There is quite a bit going on in February and you probably all have
different thoughts on what your favorite holiday or special day to
celebrate is, such as Ground Hog Day, Presidents' Day, Mardi Gras,
Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, Super Bowl Sunday--or maybe it's your
birthday, anniversary or something else that is your favorite February
"special day". Love of anything is always good no matter what so please
share your favorite February Favorite!! Enjoy sharing your "love" of
February with us and remember, the month is short so don't wait too long!
WE love hearing from you.*
*I will start off with my favorite February happening and that is my love
of Valentine's Day--one, because I think red roses are gorgeous, I love
pink anything (especially flamingos) which to me is also a Valentine
color; secondly, I have always loved the vintage Valentines with slushy
sentiments and the adorable cupids and children; third, I must be a
romantic at heart and can remember how much fun it was being selected as
Valentine Queen/Sweetheart, both in first grade and again in sorority a few
times over the years. . . it's always fun to be Queen!! I love getting and
sending Valentines, love love love chocolate and anything lacy, Victorian
and romantic. One year I even left my large Christmas tree up and
decorated it with all Valentine ornaments, cards and flowers and last year
I left my red ornaments on it for our sorority chapter meeting in
February. Happy Valentine's Day to you all!*

Since it’s usually really cold with lots of snow (not so much this year) we would travel
to hot/warm countries. Uruguay, Columbia, Mexico, Cuba –not a fan but this year we will be
staying home due to covid . My husband’s back went out the other day and I said It’s
because we should be going away. Every time we go away his back goes out. It’s a rule!!!
Love the valentine. Lynn Faragher Orillia Canada

Hi I enjoy February when we have Sadie Hawkins day or the 29th of February. My hubby and I
were dating on a leap year so I purposed to him. Lol. He said no, but gathered up enough
courage to ask me again in April.
I also like February q6th because my hubby and I remarried in 2003 after his accident. It
was to symbolize that we would still live each other and stay together.
There is a lot to enjoy in February. I also like it because we usually get snow. More in
February than any other month, at least it seems that way to me. Lol.

From Cozette Bolshaw ... I cut out the pics so the message could go through. Still having
issues with the server's site. Pat     Â
I just realized I forgot to respond to the program this month and here we are almost half
through the month. Â Looking forward to President's day (day off for me), Super bowl
Sunday was not as important this year to me. Â Several of my dear friends have birthday
this month so I have enjoyed those celebrations. Â Valentines is so pretty to me during a
"doldrums" time in Idaho, our January/February weather is typically very gloomy
so the pretty reds, pinks and white of Valentines are certainly a pick me up. It is
actually snowing while I write this email, so indeed a gloomy overcast day.
I always depend on after Valentines we are on the quick slide to SPRING!!! and look
forward to things popping out of the ground and trees budding!
