June Message from Nepean High School Council

This will be our final message for the 2007/8 school year. Messages
will resume in the fall.
The Nepean High School Council is planning a major fund raising event
for the fall, likely in November. An organizing meeting is being
held in the school library next Tuesday June 17th at 7 pm to plan
this event. For more information please contact Carolyn Montague at
the email address/phone number listed below.
The School Council is looking for some new members for the 2008/9
school year. In particular we are seeking a person who would like to
be our OCASC representative (see http://ocasc.ca/ for details).
Several other positions are available and elections will be held at
September meeting of the Council. Membership in the Council is a
great way to learn more about your school, and to meet members of the
school staff and other parents.
In the meantime, please watch the school web site for details on
upcoming events at NHS. In particular, you are encouraged to visit
