FW: bike ride for United Way
by Rand MacIntosh
This email is being forwarded from Bill Weaver. He is a co-chair for the
United Way. They are trying to raise awareness of the local agencies and
promote healthy lifestyles in Chatham Kent. Might be a great opportunity for
us to show support and promote cycling as well.
The dates are September 8th and 9th.

- your bike shirts will blend in well. The route is as follows , after
the last ride with you i am convinced it is not overly ambitious. We
are arranging for escort vehicles - details to follow. You will notice
references to agencies - these are tentative brief events at the
various stops .
please forward to your biking friends . Perhaps you could put a list of
any interested bikers together that we could talk about later. Thanks
Bill Weaver

Intermediate ride
by Ann McKenzie
Ok.....from all the responses I receive it looks like we are going to move
forward with this.
Tomorrow night we will split into two groups. |The intermediate group will
leave at 630 the second group 635. For those who are interested, both groups
could meet up at timmies at the end. Hey.....I wonder how long it will be
before Timmies is licenced?
Thanks everyone for your input. Looks like we are moving forward once again.
