On this Labour Day holiday weekend, I'm only highlighting one new regular
event that begins today.
Tonight is the start of (IMOO) Improvising Musicians of Ottawa/Outaouais -
inaugural concert at the Umi Café - 7 to 9 pm.
IMOO is a new concert series in Ottawa, featuring improvising musicians from
the Ottawa area and beyond. We will be holding concerts at the Umi Café
every second Sunday at 7:00pm with different lineups of musicians.
Inaugural concert features: Mike Essoudry - drums, percussion,
electronics, Ryan Purchase - trombone, Craig Pedersen - trumpet, electronics,
