[Ottawamusicians] Help save the CBC

The Canadian government has refused to provide loans to the CBC to cover its budget shortfall this year. This is forcing the CBC and Radio Canada to drastically cut over 800 jobs as well as programming when job creation is being touted by the same government. The CBC is Canada's unifying force to bring together and connect its various regions, their cultures and Canada's strengths in being at the forefront of a multi-cultural nation that can show the world the way to be able to live together in spite of differences its citizens may have. This factor needs to be supported by Canada's government, not lessened. The CBC has been very supportive of local live music and other artistic endeavours in its programming often featuring both the music of local artists and interviews in the morning and afternoon radio shows with artists on their gigs.
