Hi again.
I've now received clarification from Gavin McLintock that Ottawa Jazz Happenings
will continue to serve its 800 plus subscribers and that Ottawa Jazz Scene is
an independent approach in keeping the Ottawa jazz audience aware of what's
going on.
To have jazz gigs and other jazz news appear in Ottawa Jazz Happenings, please
send the details to ottawajazzhappenings(a)jazzworkscanada.com the last e-address
I have for this service.

Hi,
I got the following latest Ottawa Jazz Happenings of 13 July 2009 as many
musicians on the jazz side also likely have.
While the new web based approach definitely looks good, it's not yet clear to
me if this new
www.OttawaJazzScene.ca site just supplements or replaces
Ottawa Jazz Happenings. I guess that will be clarified in time. In the meantime,
this provides at least one more place to promote jazz gigs at the contact
info below.
I have adjusted in the meantime my web links to accommodate this change as
best I can understand what it involves.
I would suggest that any clarifications needed be posted to the
ottawamusicians(a)lists.ncf.ca list as well as to the Ottawa Jazz Happenings
list by Brett and Gavin who are members so jazz musicians will know whether
there are now two contact points or if one replaces the other.
