Hello Everyone
Our granddaughter, Emma, who is a Grade 12 student in the Canterbury High School music programme, is giving her first solo recital on Monday February 23. Organizing and playing in this recital is part of a year long project which she is doing as part of her requirements for graduation from this programme and to help prepare her for university auditions.
You will also be fortunate enough to hear Liko Yamane on piano and the Emerald (string) Quartet (Alisa, Ethan, Jerry & Emma). There will be selections from Lalo, Bruch, Bach, and more.
The recital takes place at 7 p.m. at MacKay United Church, 39 Dufferin Road. (For those of you who were at Garden Club earlier this week, I was wrong about the location.)
There is no admission cost.
You are all most welcome, hope to see some of you there.

This is my first posting to revinci so I hope it works!
Our granddaughter Emma is giving a solo cello recital, along with a quartet she plays in, on the 23rd of this month.
It takes place at MacKay Street United Church (for those of you who were at Garden Club yesterday, I was wrong about the location).
Organizing and giving this recital is a year long project which she must do as part of her music requirements for Grade 12 at Canterbury High School.

community mailboxes - again

Hello all. Please forgive this resend of the following message. At
least 6 new members have joined since I sent it out. This list now has
17 subscribers.
In the last week, one of the members of the Revelstoke GC (Eva Stumes)
and her neighbour have been contacted by Canada Post re: CP's intention
to put a community mailbox on/around the corner from the
Revelstoke/Kamloops split. There are potentially 3 community boxes
going up in our area. Does anyone know of other notices that have been
delivered? Directly affected residents must be notified and are allowed
to comment.
