Choir invitation

Maybe you always wanted to try singing in a choir or maybe you did this
in the past and are looking for a way back in.
Voca Sol is a community choir, acappella, that practices on Thursday
afternoons 1:30-3:00 pm. under the direction of Lee Hayes at the
Wesleyan Church on the corner of Sunnyside and Grosvenor . The music is
varied -- some gospel, some motown, some just plain fun to sing. It is
recognized that many of the folks in the choir are retired and like to
travel, so there is no pressure re: inability to attend. We sing for fun
-- rare performances are usually around a charity event or seniors home.
Tomorrow, Thursday June 29th we are inviting potential new members to
join us as we start a new song -- John Lennon's masterpiece -- Imagine.
Anyone interested could e-mail me back or just come along. We are
looking for both men and women. You don't need any training, you don't
need to read music, and the others in the group will have your back even
if you think you can't sing. So no commitment, no pressure -- just an
opportunity to join in song and see how it feels.

farm fresh eggs

Hello all. I am selling 5 dozen free-range eggs fresh today (Wednesday)
from a local farm. I thought some of you might be interested. $6.00
dozen. First come, first served.
No, I am not starting a business. Someone from my choir came in with a
whole box of them and I couldn't let her take any home. I guess the
chickens are just especially productive at the moment.
