Hi everyone,
Yesterday one of the daily visitors to our area - Geoff, with his little
Brittany Spaniel, Hera, encountered three coyotes at the bottom of the
paved road between the hydro lines and the Via tracks. They were not
afraid of him and when he turned and went quickly up the hill to take
Hera away, one of the coyotes was bold enough to follow behind. Geoff
made a lot of noise and made himself as big as he could so the coyotes
did not come close, but he was shaken by the ordeal and warns all of us
to watch carefully. It was at dusk, so a little dark at the time. Geoff
thinks they would not bother anyone in the daytime but just to be sure
he advised having a loud whistle or some other object to make noise if
you are walking out in the green space.

Does anyone have an old refrigerator not in use?
by johnnie.canuck@rogers.com
Hello neighbours
Looking for a refrigerator ( bar-size or larger, not a self-defrosting type) to use for curing meats ( my husband John’s latest culinary adventure) .
If the freezer part does not work that is not a problem.
You can reach me at johnnie.canuck(a)rogers.com <mailto:johnnie.canuck@rogers.com>, or call 613-523-6261
merci,
Happy Holidays
