The Carlos Alberto Santana's Jazz Trio will be playing a benefit concert at the home of Dulce Ibarra and Gonzalo Wills @ 68 Kamloops ave. on March 21, 7 pm. Carlos Alberto Santana is a musician and composer originally from Mexico. He studied jazz in Mexico and at McGill University. He has played in most popular festivals in the National Capital Region and recorded with many local artists. He is also an electrical engineer working for the IT sector in Ottawa. This wonderful evening of Latin American jazz will be a fundraiser for Child Play International - a charity founded by Barbara Fulford, a longtime resident of the area and member of the Garden Club.
