Hello! Bob and I would like to invite you and your family to come to our place for dessert this Friday. The guest of honour will be our old friend, George Brown, who is running for the NDP party in Ottawa South. We first met George about 35 years ago when he coached our son's hockey team. Over the years we have always been interested in hearing of his achievements and continual involvement in community projects. He served as city councillor for the former Riverside Ward for nine years, became a lawyer and has always taken a special interest in environmental issues among many others. In meeting local residents, George is interested in learning about any special concerns in this area or proposals for future consideration. We hope you can join us.
