Some items of note to consider this week:
a.. For anyone who enjoys good blues, blues-rock and R & B for either dancin' or good listnin' Tucson's is presenting three good opportunities this week.
Thursday, blues- rockin' guitarist- singer, David Gogo from Nanaimo is there.
Friday, it's the Runes with blues shountin' Leslie Rohonczy in charge of vocals, and
Friday, it's Wicked Grin giving you Blues with Bite.
b.. JW-Jones who has played throughout the world (CANADA, USA, EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, BRAZIL) is at Rainbow Bistro Friday. JW has been invited to share the stage with some of the biggest names in blues today (to play with, not open for), The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Junior Watson, Little Charlie & The Nightcats, Rusty Zinn, Rick Holmstrom, Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets, The Mannish Boys, the legendary Hubert Sumlin, and many more.
It's a good bluesy week.

a.. Souper Jazz on Sparks Street, Wednesday 11:30 AM - Listen to some enthusiastic live traditional/dixieland jazz and if the spirit moves you, please make a donation to a worthy local cause- Sparks St. Mall - near the CBC.
b.. Limestone Bluesfest runs from Thursday 21 August to Sunday 24 August. If you want to attend a not too far from local one that's not in name only, here's one that hasn't lost its raison d'ètre along the way.
