Re: [Ottawabluesandjazz] Are you "in".. / Serez-vous de la partie..
by Bluesandjazzguy
Thanks Josée.
The way it normally works with my Ottawa Blues, Jazz & Swing guide service is that the
musicians or someone on their behalf add their gigs to the DIY (do-it-yourself) calendar
http://ottawa-blues-jazz.ncf.ca/MonthsCalendar.html
I've appended the process at the end of your note.
Usually Sundays, I look at what's been added to the calendar and if there are enough gigs
to highlight something to my ottawabluesandjazz list ottawabluesandjazz(a)lists.ncf.ca
to live music fans, I send a note to the list.
I also have another list for musicians that you may wish to consider joining.
Anyway, if you add your gig to the calendar using the process below, I'll be sure to
cover it in what I send to my ottawabluesandjazz(a)lists.ncf.ca mailing on 5th July.
Here are links to both lists for your info:

Happy B-Day in advance Jim. It's too bad you won't be joining us but please forward the message to all your "not so close but you still trust, friends and family members " that won't be at your party...lol
I'm going to need all the help I can get to fill up this big room. Once they're in, I'll take over;-).
Thanks for your quick reply.

Nice hype write, Jozee! ;-)
That happens to coincide with my birthday that my family will be wishing
to celebrate in a homey get together. Best wishes for a successful gig
in spite of my absence. :-)

Are you IN?
On July 9th, 385 music fans will be at the Library and Archives concert hall for a onetime Jozée Devoua - Mike Tremblay, Mark Ferguson, John Geggie and Charles Gay - concert (See details on the poster below).
Because of the limited number of seats (only 385!... ) and the fact that we want the "crème de la crème" people in the audience, guests for this event are being pre-selected. We are happy to announce that you have been chosen as one of the 385 people who we would love to see in the audience/who can purchase tickets. But wait, there's more! For a limited time - until July 9th at 7:59 pm - you can invite a few close friends (a maximum of 384). J
A few friends from the classic rock group "Barrelhouse" will be joining me for a special performance. What does that have to do with jazz? You will find out on July 9th.

Info 819.205.1317
Purchase your tickets before June 15th and get a 5$ rebate per ticket!!! - Call 819-205-1317
