PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
I only highlight a small number of events that are posted to the calendar.
Nowhere near everything is posted on the calendar as it's musician/venue

It's also a good idea to call a venue to confirm that regular listings still apply
as they sometimes just quietly go away or may be cancelled due to weather disruptions.
First, check the calendar for more on Ottawa live music events recently posted on the
calendar.

Some Upcoming Live Ottawa Blues, Jazz & Swing Events
by Bluesandjazzguy
4 June 2010
Follow the link for some live music opportunities listed this week on the
Ottawa Blues, Jazz & Swing Guide calendar
Besides those specifically listed here or on the calendar, there is info on
other venues' plans like Rainbow Bistro, Tucson's, Elmdale Tavern and Bass Line

a.. Friday and Saturday 4 & 5 June
- Bluestone is at Tucson's Friday. This distinctive rock band features two lead guitars
(male and female), bass, drums, not to mention all four members on vocals. With nearly
thirty original songs under their belt, Bluestone is a prolific song-writing unit.
- Conspiracy a fun-loving band that plays the best of classic rock and R&B mixed with
some of today's best tunes is at Tucson's Saturday.
- The Ethics are at Rainbow Bistro Friday. These talented locals put out their second album,
At Cities' End, earlier this year. Their music has been gathering more attention lately -
and deservedly so - but they're especially known for putting on a killer live show,
complementing their energetic stage presence with an impeccable sense of style
- Barrelhouse is at Rainbow Bistro Saturday. Known for their tribute to The Allman Brothers,
and Steely Dan, This excellent group of 7 musicians allow the group to cover eccelectic and
complex songs, medleys and arrangements that very few Classic Rock bands ever dare. Also expect
an array of classics by your favourite bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Supertramp and
Stones and more!
b.. Sunday June 6
- Steve Berndt & Eric Disero now play brunch every Sunday at Bacci Bistro just
over the E.B. Eddy bridge in Hull. Bacci Bistro has excellent food, you've got
to eat it to believe it I'm told.

but adventurous in repertoire 3 to 6 pm at Royal Oak, Kanata Royal Oak, Kanata.
c.. Wednesday June 9 - Viree Blues Boreale presents the Bob Walsh Trio as part of
the launch of DAWG FM. After years of hard work, last Monday for the first time,
Blues broke through air of the Ottawa-Gatineau region, for preliminary testing.
Virée Blues Boréale and Bob Walsh, strong supporters of this project from the very
start have been asked to officially launch the radio station on June 9, at Le Petit
Chicago. With interest in the event a second show from 5 to 7 pm on was added
besides the 8 pm show. With his typical charisma, Quebec Blues scene giant Bob
Walsh will bring to a close the 10th edition of Viree Blues Boreale.
