a.. Sunday, 21 Feb - GleeBop takes a break this week and Without Annette is filling in.
Come out and hear Without Annette play some funky jazz and blues. Unfortunately
our friend Annette can't make the gig (hence, we are 'Without Annette') So
Gretchen Schwarz (Piano & Vocal), Susan Herbert (Congas), Flavio Jorge
(Bass & Vocal) and John Graham (Sax & Vocal) will be enlivening the Arrow and
the Loon 4 to 6 pm.

There's an Open Mic Electric Jam at Bass Line Station
Thursday 25 - The Stellar Cast Blues Showcase is at Irenes. Hosted by Mike
Ktenas and Corky Kealey, with weekly guest hosts and sit-ins by Ottawa's best roots

- THE COOPER BROTHERS first New Album In 20 Years Set For Release at
CENTREPOINTE THEATRE Featuring Colin Linden and Special Guest Jonas.
After a 20 year hiatus from recording, the Cooper Brothers are back with a brand
new, all-original album that is set for exclusive release.
For this extraordinary performance, Grammy nominee Colin Linden will be featured
performing with The Cooper Brothers. Special guest Jonas will open the show with
an intimate acoustic duo performance featuring Corey Diabo on guitar. Tickets also
available at Capital Tickets
-Mango Upstart is at The Branch in Kemptville. Take a little ride to Kemptville and
treat your tongue to some delicious organic cuisine and your ears to some delicious
latin jazz! Mango Upstart will doing their thing - playing music from warmer climes.
Music from Cuba, Brazil, and New York City (OK, NYC is probably not all that
much warmer than here). The Branch Restaurant is at 15 Clothier St E. in Kemptville.

a.. Sunday, 14 Feb - Jessamyn Greene and band perform live at Irene's
EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT! Blues/jazz originals rock, funk, folk, R&B, don't miss
out! this is a kick ass band. Jesse is an amazing guitarist and songwriter.
Bluesfest performances, and shows with her other two bands Jokko and
Frank and Jesse James have really started to turn heads and win hearts.
But this is by far the best yet! Jason Cote, Guitar- Luke Donovan and
Jesse Greene, Harp Marc Seguin, Bass - Dan Grewal.
b.. Thursday, 18 Feb
- JazzWorks Monthly Jam Carleton Tavern, 223 Armstrong Street across from
the Parkdale Market. Its a great combination - great music by local jazz
musicians, a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, with lots of free parking
and top notch pub food that's available into the late evening. 8 p.m. to
midnight-ish - Cover/Admission: $5. Proceeds support jam sessions
and JazzWorks scholarships. All listeners, jammers, newcomers, and Jazz
Campers are welcome!
