Wednesday 23 March - There's an Electric-Acoustic Open Jam @ Greenfields Pub 8 pm to 1 am Every Wednesday / Greenfields Pub, 900 Greenbank Rd. - Open Mic Acoustic Jam @ Bass Line Station - Baseline & Greenbank c.. Thursday March 24 - Mercury Lounge presents an Afro-Cuban Experience with Caridad Cruz featuring César Ricardo (guitar & vocals) Israel Martinez (guitar) Rick Rangno (trumpet) and Reynier Garcia (congas). $12 door 8:30 to 11 pm. d.. Sunday 27 March - Almonte Big Band Tea Dance is at Almonte Old Town Hall at 14 Bridge Street in Almonte. Combine a scenic Sunday afternoon drive to Almonte with dancing to one of the area's best big bands in an authentic period setting. e.. A special Cancer Fundraiser coming in April A fundraiser is being hosted in honour of Blues Lover JP (Jean-Pierre) Bélisle on Saturday, April 16th 2011 from 7-11 pm at Koyman Art Gallery, at 1171 St. Laurent Blvd. Space is limited so if you're interested, get or reserve your tickets soon. This will be a heart-warming event to raise funds to be equally divided between The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre and Kidney Cancer Canada. For complete details click HERE f..
