PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Friday 9 July
- Sandra Clarke Trio is at Cajun Attic with Sandra Clarke on vocals Howard
Tweddle on piano and Chris Thompson on drums. Sandra Clarke Trio is preparing
a fine evening of entertainment for you from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Cajun Attic in
the Market.
This is a project which Sandra and Howard have been working on over recent months.
You'll enjoy the musicality and varied repertoire and Sandra Clarke Trio is
delighted
that Chris will be joining us for this show. The Cajun Attic is at 349 Dalhousie, just
north of George St. They serve up Ottawa's best in authentic deep south cuisine!
- The NightCrawlers are at The Original Baja Burger Shack (Britannia Beach)
6 pm to 9 pm. This acoustic blues band opens the Britannia Unplugged music series.
Local musicians Barry Buse, Peter Newsom, Ken Orenstein & Marc 'Wofie'
Rochon
celebrate the start of summer 2010 by sharing their passion for acoustic roots
blues with an informal and intimate performance. You'll feel like you are sitting
with
them in their living room - or in this case on their deck at the beach.
The Baja Burger Shack's great food and cold beverages (licensed), and its location
by
the city's most beautiful beach, ensures that this will be Ottawa's best burger
& blues
event. Location: 2805 Carling Ave., Ottawa Ontario
I only highlight a small number of events that are posted to the calendar.
Nowhere near everything is posted on the calendar as it's musician/venue
optional to post, and amend the listings as needed. However more info can be found
on the calendar including links to such venue web sites as Rainbow Bistro, Tucson's,
The Elmdale and Bass Line Station that usually have more detailed schedules.
It's also a good idea to call a venue to confirm that regular listings still apply
as they sometimes just quietly go away or may be cancelled due to weather disruptions.
First, check the calendar for more on Ottawa live music events recently posted on the
