a.. Sunday 18 April - Vineyards presents Elise Letourneau - Vocal and Flute
& Tim Bedner - 7 string Guitar in its long time featuring of jazz duos.
b.. Monday 5 April - Search Engine is at Le Petit Chicago
performing three sets with some of the area's best young players.
The music and fun sometimes doesn't stop until 2 am at Le Petit
Chicago, Hull, QC with Brian Asselin, tenor sax, Jeff Asselin, drums,
Alex Mastronadi, bass and Zakari Frantz on sax.
c.. Wednesday 21 April - Viree Blues Boreale presents Shrimp Daddy &
The Sharpshooters a newcomer to Viree Blues Boreale with Steve Marriner
at 8 pm. Enjoy a voice like B.B.King's, a set list of original compositions
similar to that of Chicago Blues legends' and some harmonica playing evoking
James Cotton, Little Walter or Howlin Wolf.
In a festive atmosphere and with an album produced by a long time friend of
Viree Blues Boreale, Shrimp Daddy, a Montreal native is now living in Oakville Ontario.
And it is in our region, in Ottawa and with our friend Steve Marriner from Monkey
Junk that his impressive album was produced. They will be officially launching this
album, "Messin' With My System", a return to their roots for Shrimp Daddy
&
the Sharpshooters and for Steve Marriner, at Viree Blues Boreale.
a.. Thursday 22 April - The Stellar Cast Blues Showcase at Irene's 885 Bank St
Ottawa Ont. Hosted by Mike Ktenas and Corky Kealey, with weekly guest hosts
and sit-ins by Ottawa's best roots musicians this week with guest host Dr. Dave/

Nowhere near everything is posted on the calendar as it's musician/venue
optional to post, and amend the listings as needed. However more info can be found
on the calendar including links to such venue web sites as Rainbow Bistro, Tucson's,
The Elmdale and Bass Line Station that usually have more detailed schedules.
It's also a good idea to call a venue to confirm that regular listings still apply
as they sometimes just quietly go away or may be cancelled due to weather disruptions.
