Sunday, March 13 - It may be too late to see her this time, as it's a Sold out event but Kellylee Evans is at Les Brasseurs du Temps 8:00 pm. KellyLee Evans, a Juno Award and Gemini Award nominee, continues to evolve her distinctive sound with her newest release Nina, a tribute to Nina Simone. There's always next time when Kellylee plays in her hometown area. - There's an Open Blues/Rock jam at Le Petit Chicago in Hull Centre-Town 9:30 pm to 12:30 am. - There's an Open Jam with Maria Hawkins - 3 pm to 7 pm b.. Tuesday March 15 - Catch Blues @ The Old Staye House Bar & Grill (Arnprior) 8:30 pm - 11:30 pm. The NightCrawlers acoustic blues band host blues night on the third Tuesday of the month. The NightCrawlers are vintage blues players living up the Valley. Band includes Bary Buse - Guitar, Marc Rochon - Harp/1930's National Steel Guitar, Peter Newsom - Drums Ken Orenstein - Bass. c.. A special Cancer Fundraiser coming in April A fundraiser is being hosted in honour of Blues Lover JP (Jean-Pierre) Bélisle on Saturday, April 16th 2011 from 7-11 pm at Koyman Art Gallery, at 1171 St. Laurent Blvd. Space is limited so if you're interested, get or reserve your tickets soon. This will be a heart-warming event to raise funds to be equally divided between The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre and Kidney Cancer Canada. For complete details click HERE d..
