a.. Sunday 11 April
- There's Jazz in the Afternoon at The Arrow & Loon Pub in the Glebe. Great

micro-brewery beer, and jazz at 99 Fifth Avenue at Bank Street. It doesn't get any
better than that!
Sandra Clarke (vocals), Howard Tweddle (jazz piano), and Chris Thompson

have been fixtures on the Ottawa jazz scene for many years, but this is the first time
they've performed together as a group. The show will feature an eclectic mix of
music,
from ballads to up tempo, from latin to swing, from old to new. No cover charge.

variety
of bluesy live music. This coming Sunday, check out The Moon Dogs. Click the above link

For more info, check the Ottawa Blues, Jazz & Swing Guide calendar.
I only highlight a small number of events that are posted to the calendar.
Nowhere near everything is posted on the calendar as it's musician/venue
optional to post, and amend the listings as needed. However more info can be found
on the calendar including links to such venue web sites as Rainbow Bistro, Tucson's,
The Elmdale and Bass Line Station that usually have more detailed schedules.
It's also a good idea to call a venue to confirm that regular listings still apply
as they sometimes just quietly go away or may be cancelled due to weather disruptions.
First, check the calendar for more on Ottawa live music events. For the full month's
