CUDS Members,
Concordia University's North American Women's Debating Open is coming up January 16-18 in Montréal. Any members interested in attending this tournament should note that CUDS will not be able to subsidize the registration costs so they will be responsible for the full registration fees of C$165 per team or C$69 per judge, which include a two night stay at the Ritz Carlton hotel, a Saturday night banquet, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and Sunday brunch. If you have any questions about the tournament, visit the Concordia Debating Society Web Site or phone Concordia Debating Society President Penny Ortega's mobile at (514) 743-5510.

CU Debating Society: Dorchester Cup (March 5-7) Volunteers Needed
by cuds@lists.ncf.ca
Hello CUDS members!
Hope all your exams are going well and that you're looking forward to the holidays! Before you all break for the holidays, just a little reminder of an upcoming CUDS event:
If you don't know already, Carleton's Debating Society is hosting the Dorchester Cup (university tournament) the week-end of March 5-7. This is a huge undertaking, and we need all the hands we can get! We need judges, runners, and people to help with various tasks during the week-end. CUDS members are our first source of volunteers for the week-end..... yes, that's all of you! If you are available for the week-end (preferably all of it, but if not, at least part of it), please e-mail Marion (treblenoi(a)hotmail.com). Mark this date on your calendars... for Dorchester to be a success, we need PEOPLE!
Thanks and happy holidays everyone!
