*Alternate Meeting Time*
Want to debate? Can't make the Fall Semester meeting times? Well,
you're in luck. We are considering setting up an alternate meeting
time for those who can't make the Wednesday evening and Friday
afternoon meetings.
If you are interested in this option, e-mail
*vpcom(a)carletondebate.org <mailto:vpcom@carletondebate.org>* with
your preferred day and time. Once we get enough responses, we'll
see about setting up the meeting time.
*Volunteers Needed: Xerxes High School Tournament *
Just another reminder that our annual high school tournament, the
2004 Xerxes Cup, will be taking place November 19 - 20. We need
many volunteers to put on this event and all CUDS members are
expected to help out. If you can spare some time to help out,
please e-mail the Tournament Director, Greta Hall, at
*xerxes(a)carletondebate.org* <mailto:xerxes@carletondebate.org>.
*Get Drunk With Mike (I mean, Case Building Sessions)*
Every Wednesday, CUDS senior member Mike Powell, and other members
of the club will be at Mike's Place (next to the Food Court) at
12:30pm to have some lunch, help build your debate cases, and
generally hang out. All members of the Society are welcome to come
out. Hope to see you there!
