you will be suitable for the position to exec(a)carletondebate.org.
Mike Powell has proposed a constitutional amendment dealing with procedural
issues in voting. The proposed amendment is located on CUSIDnet.
3. Several major tournaments are coming up soon. On the week after
Thanksgiving, the English Debate Society at the University of Ottawa is
hosting the Father Roger Guindon Cup. We will be sending as many people as
we can to this tournament, so apply as soon as possible. In addition to
Guindon, we are sending many teams to the Yale BP tournament on October 27
and 28. If you are interesting in debating at a top Ivy League University,
please express your interest to the executive, as this looks to be an
awesome opportunity. We will be sending five teams and two judges.
4. Our Novices are back from the Central Novice Championships, held this
year in October. Everybody had a great time in Toronto, our Novices did
very well, and gained lots of experience in debating. Thanks to all the
debaters and judges that went to Toronto, and also to Hart House for hosting
the tournament.
