CUDS Executive Opening

Hello everyone,
It is with great sadness that I must inform you that our VP External (VPX),
Wayne Chu, will be leaving us for greener pastures in Toronto. Wayne has
done a simply amazing job on the executive of CUDS for the last several
years, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
This means, however, that we now have a vacancy on our executive: the VPX
position. The CUDS Constitution defines the duties of the VPX as follows:
"Responsible for organizing Society participation in external debating
events and maintaining the sign up list for external tournaments."
If you feel that you are qualified for this position and have a passion for
debate, please log on to CUSIDnet to post a platform about why you would
make a great VPX. If for any reason you are unable to post your platform on
CUSIDnet feel free to send it to myself (vpcom(a)carletondebate.org) or Ben
Piper (president(a)carletondebate.org) and we will post your platform for you.
The by-election will be taking place in September, with the exact date
TBA.
